School Closure

The decision to close the school is never taken lightly. Usually this happens in the event of bad weather such as snow or as in recent years, heavy flooding.  The decision taken is based upon the health and safety of staff and pupils getting to school and having the right ratio of supervision once at school.  In the event that school has to be closed, we have many methods of communication open to you: Facebook, Twitter, School Website and our Wisepay Message system.

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

We have attached  current activities and plans for each week of Lockdown from the class teachers for those children unable to attend school.  Please note that we are available to prepare the current week's activity pack for you and make it available for collection or delivery, along with some resources should they be required.

Summer Holiday activities (Monday 20th July to Tuesday 1st September 2020)

We have put together some optional activity ideas for the summer holidays.  Please add any activities undertaken into your exercise books being used for home learning.  Please bring all work completed at home back to school in September in the books provided.

Why not check back through the fourteen weeks of resource packs for any missed activities?

Rock Snake

Find a rock, stone or pebble and decorate it in any way you wish.  Add it to the Rock Snake outside Ralph Sadleir School.  How far can we make it stretch through the village?

All about me!

Tell your teacher all about you and your family.  Use photos or draw pictures of your family. Tell us what you like and what hobbies you do.  Do you have any pets?  If you go out and about over the six week holiday, we would love to see some pictures of what you get up to.

An example format for returning to school.
